Boost! Whitening

There are many different factors that contribute to the discoloring or staining of the teeth, including drinking dark liquids such as coffee and wine, smoking, and aging. We now offer a new and more efficient whitening system called BOOST! Chair-side Whitening System. BOOST Whitening is the fast, new way to whiten your teeth that is done in 1 visit! With BOOST, all teeth can be whitened simultaneously, and treatment is shown to be more effective than other whitening systems. Results are longer lasting and cause less sensitivity in the teeth.

BOOST is a gel that bleaches the dentin and enamel of the teeth, resulting in whiter, brighter teeth after treatment. During treatment, cheek retractors are placed so that all teeth may be exposed to the whitening gel. The gums will be covered to protect them from sensitivity. The BOOST gel will then be painted on the teeth. After 15 minutes, the gel will be removed and the mouth will be rinsed. This process is repeated another 2 times for a total of 45 minutes. You will see immediate results after treatment.

LUMINEERS

LUMINEERS are an excellent option for those looking for beautiful teeth without surgery or painful treatments. LUMINEERS are thin porcelain slips that are placed over the teeth to make your teeth instantly appear white and straight. LUMINEERS are a great option for those with large gaps in between the teeth, misaligned teeth, misshapen teeth, stained teeth, uneven gums and teeth, or unnatural looking bridges and crowns. They are long lasting (20 years), pain-free, and completely reversible. Multiple LUMINEERS can be applied at a time and will not affect speech or eating.

LUMINEERS require just two appointments. During your first appointment, impressions and X-rays will be taken to determine the exact shape of your teeth so that the LUMINEERS bond perfectly to your teeth. During this appointment, we will discuss what color and shape you hope to achieve. At your second appointment we will bond the LUMINEERS to your teeth. Once they are bonded, they will be polished and smoothed, leaving you with a beautiful white smile.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are a permanent solution for missing teeth. Dental implants are placed in the jaw to replace the natural root of the tooth. It is then covered with a crown (an artificial tooth, a cap). Implants are strong, durable, and imitate the function and feel like a natural tooth. After surgery, you will be able to chew and speak as you did with natural teeth. Among the benefits of dental implants, patients consider that with dental implants, the neighboring teeth are not affected, joint paint and bite irregularities can be fixed, facial tissues are restored or enhanced, and bridges and dentures can be supported.

Invisalign

Invisalign corrects misaligned teeth. Invisalign aligners are invisible and can be removed, unlike traditional metal braces. They correct the same problems that braces do, including overcrowding of teeth, gaps in teeth, cross bite, overbite, and underbite. Invisalign is often preferred over traditional braces because it can be removed at any time, is comfortable, and is more aesthetically appealing.

Like Invisalign, we offer SureSmile® Aligners that are often more affordable and can possibly straighten your teeth in 6 months

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are custom-made shells that cover the surface of the teeth to improve the color, size, and shape of the teeth. Porcelain veneers are made out of thin and durable materials that closely imitate the look of natural teeth. Veneers can completely change the look and feel of your teeth, creating a uniform, white, and beautiful smile.

Anesthesia is not required during application of veneers. During your first appointment impressions will be taken of the teeth so that the veneers will comfortably fit. On your second visit we will apply bonding cement between the tooth and the veneer to create a durable bond.

Porcelain Crowns

A porcelain crown is a cap that is placed over the tooth to restore its appearance, shape, size, and strength. Porcelain crowns are a good cosmetic dentistry option because they are durable and closely resemble the look and feel of natural teeth.

Traditionally installing porcelain crowns takes two appointments. During your first appointment we will take impressions of your teeth to get a mold that is perfectly fitted to your teeth. Until your new crown comes in, we will place a temporary crown on the tooth. During your second visit, we will remove your temporary crown, clean the tooth, and place the permanent crown. Now with our CEREC® Technology, we can take a digital impression, make your crown, and cement it all in ONE visit! Porcelain crowns can be used for damaged fillings, decayed teeth, chipped teeth, dental implants, and aesthetic purposes.

Porcelain Fixed Bridges

A bridge is a fixed restoration used to replace missing teeth, maintain facial shape, prevent teeth from drifting, and restore chewing and speaking ability. A bridge is made up of two or more crowns to fill in a gap between teeth. Porcelain fixed bridges are among the most popular because they are highly durable, last many years, and resemble natural teeth.

A porcelain fixed bridge may require two or more appointments to complete. During your first visit your teeth will be numbed and part of the enamel will be removed in order to make room for a crown. An impression will be taken so that the bridge can be fitted to your teeth. At your second visit we will temporarily cement the bridge to allow the teeth to get used to the new bridge. Your bridge will be permanently cemented during your last appointment. we will determine if it is necessary to temporarily cement the bridge before permanently bonding it.
