Shannan
Financial and Treatment Coordinator
Shannan joined Ligocki Dental Group in 2025, bringing her with over 20 years of experience in dental management, financial coordination, and treatment planning. Her passion for the dental field drives everything Shannan does, and she genuinely loves helping patients. Shannan is dedicated to ensuring you make the most of your dental benefits, so you can achieve the healthy smile you deserve.
Outside of the office, Shannan has been happily married to her husband for 28 years, and they have three amazing grown sons. Her family has recently grown to include a wonderful daughter-in-law. When Shannan is not working, she loves traveling, working out, reading, and spending quality time with her family. Shannan is also a big fan of hockey and race cars, adding a little extra excitement to her downtime.

Ali
PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
Ali has been working as our Patient Care Coordinator since February 2025. Although she is new to the dental field, she has been fascinated in dentistry for quite a while. Her desire to be a part of a team that strives to better the quality of life for every patient that walks through their doors is what drove her to pursue this career. Ali’s empathy and dedication allows her to provide patients with the highest level of care.
When Ali is not working she loves to spend time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Buddy and Indigo. Ali enjoys being in nature, reading, and going to concerts. She is interested in learning more about dentistry as a whole and is excited to continue down this journey.

Luke
Registered dental HYGIENIST
Luke began working with our office during the holiday season of 2024, however he has been an active hygienist for 12 years. Prior to cleaning teeth he worked as a surgical dental assistant at a periodontal office. Spending most of his life in the dental field, he aims to reduce dental anxiety and provide gentle but thorough treatment.
Outside of the office Luke enjoys cooking, fly fishing, and sports including but not limited to NHL and Formula 1 racing. If you have any recipes for the family, please let him know!
Education:
- Class of 2013: Parkland Dental Hygiene Program
- Associates in Arts from Heartland Community College
- Bachelors in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University
Accomplishments:
- CPR Certification in March 2025
- Certified in local anesthetic injections, nitrous administration, and confident in pain management
- Routinely goes above and beyond 36 hours of continued education required to hold licensure in the state of Illinois.

JoanEllyn
CFO
Joan has been working full time with Dr. Ligocki since he graduated dental school in 1989. In the past she has worked a variety of roles, and currently she works as Ligocki Dental Group's Chief Financial Officer. She is the backbone of our dental home's finances.
Family is everything to Joan. She loves spending time with Dr. Ligocki, her daughters, Dr. Jocellyn and Dr. Lauryn, and her four puppies. During her spare time, she loves watching a good movie or reading a book.

Sydnee Grace
Therapy Dog
My name is Sydnee and I am a Certified Therapy Dog. I began working at Ligocki Dental Group in October 2016. I am friendly, calm, great with children, and hypoallergenic so there is no need to worry about being allergic to me. I love to cuddle, play fetch, and help make sure my furry sister at home gets her insulin shot. On Thursdays, you will see me making patients at Ligocki Dental Group smile by helping reduce their dental fears. Therapy Dog
My name is Jordyn. I began working at Ligocki Dental Group as a therapy dog in May 2019. I am super friendly with children and grown-ups. I am also hypoallergenic, like Sydnee, so there is no need to worry about being allergic to me. I love to cuddle and make people happy. Putting smiles on people’s faces makes me happy too! You will get to see me on either Tuesdays or Thursdays at Ligocki Dental Group making everyone’s worries disappear!

THERAPY DOG
My name is Harlee. My working journey at Ligocki Dental Group began in January 2023. I absolutely love love LOVE people! I am a poodle oodle my peoples tell me. My famous trick is to jump up onto your lap while you are sitting in the dental chair. Like Sydnee and Jordyn, I am also hypoallergenic. No need to worry about allergies. Sometimes I get the zoomies or feel the need to talk to you to make sure you are ok. Yup! I am silly, but I know you will love me!
